Keshif ("we", "our", "the app") is a restaurant discovery app for Istanbul. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Location data (optional): If you grant location permission, we use your device's GPS to show nearby restaurants on the map. Your location is processed on-device and is not stored on our servers.
Device attestation: We use Apple's App Attest service to verify that API requests come from a genuine copy of the app. This generates a unique device identifier that is stored on our server. No personal information is linked to this identifier.
Search queries: When you search for restaurants, your query is sent to our server to return results. We do not log or store individual search queries.
Our servers are hosted on Microsoft Azure in the European Union (North Europe region). All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Device attestation tokens are stored securely and can be revoked at any time.

Keshif is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
